It is a cracking looking slot and the variety in the bonus feature (8 variations) should keep the casual slot player entertained. The additional Lightning Strikes mini feature is usually far from spectacular in most instances but it does depend though on what symbol it is throwing up, we landed a nice x60 win when it gave us the pyramid symbol.
Once you have completed all 8 bonuses you can then choose which bonus you want to take from then onwards. Hermes = we selected 10 games at x5 multiplier, landed 3 extra free spins and ended with a nice win of x60. Venus = We picked 5 free spins with the Q and 9 being transformed into the FOTG symbol. We ended up with a x50 win from this feature. Woden = The feature we had on this was a total bust, we ended with a mere x10 win but we can see that if you get lucky and have a 5×5 board then you are in for a massive win. Inti = This feature is in a lot of ways similar to the Lucky Duck slot’s duckshoot feature if you know it with the elusive Wheel of the Gods being where the big money is. We landed a x26 win. Cai Shen = This feature gives you 10 free spins with sticky Cai Shen wilds. For us two stickys spun in on the first spin but none more thereafter and we left the bonus round with a x35 win. Fortuna = You start off with 10 free spins and if you land a winning combo it sticks (like in the Net Ent slot Jack Hammer). Sounds good but we only managed a x14 win even after getting an additional 9 free spins! Aphrodite = In this feature you have 7 free spins with expanding wilds. We got a very poor x9 bonus win on our bonus. Zeus = This bonus feature gives you 3 spins with the lightening strikes feature after each one. Our win gave us another very poor x10 win.
While it really is a stunning looking slot and plays very smoothly, and the addition of 8 different bonus rounds keeps it very interesting, we are not convinced it is a slot for the casual player.The RTP is set at 95.60% which isn’t too bad but from our testing it seems far too reliant on getting the bonuses, be they the main feature bonus or the mini lightning strikes bonus. During normal play the rewards are just too weak. Getting 5 of a kind of Queens for example nets you a mere x1.3 and 5 Kings a mere x1.6 and this is on a slot where these symbols are not stacked. Land 5 of a kind 9’s or 10’s and you only get your stake back!If you have a tight budget we would not advise playing this slot. Even playing at minimum stake (0.30) you probably want to have 100 in your balance to give this slot a proper shot! As you have seen from our short test, we had 11 feature bonuses, one of which was massive. So there is money in this slot but you are going to have to work hard for it and can easily blow your balance very quickly before you get the big one.
