Blueprint are one of the industry’s big workhorses, and there’s no doubt that they can launch all sorts of games successfully. At the same time, they’ve been a bit short on innovations recently, so let’s not praise them all that much. With Temple of Riches Spin Boost, they are trying to inject new life into the classic Egyptian theme, so let’s take a look at how good this package really is! To kick things off, we can tell you that the action takes place on a very standard playing board that consists of5 reels, 3 rows and 10 winlines.
The Egyptian theme doesn’t come with any noteworthy twists here, though, and the production valuesare average at best. That wouldn’t be a problem on its own, but the Egyptian theme has been so overdone at this point that we simply can’t appreciate what the designers came up with here. It’s decent enough to work at the fundamental level, but nothing more than that.
Moving on to the game’s math model, we can tell you that the volatility here ismedium-high. We can’t tell you what the slot’s realistic jackpot is, however. The betting range is wide enough, though, allowing you to play for stakes between£0.10and£100per spin. And the slot’s theoretical RTP? Well, it’s always either94.95% or 95.50%, which are both disappointing values.
The paytable of Temple of Riches Spin Boost has a total of 10 pay symbols, which can be divided into 4 low pays and 6 high pays. For low pays, there are basic card ranks from Jacks to Aces, and they all pay up to 10x your bet for a combination. For high pays, there are scarabs, golden masks, amulets, two statues, and adventurers. Adventurers are the game’stop-paying symbols, and they pay 60x your bet for a five-of-a-kind combination.
In addition to pay symbols, there areWild and Scatters, so the usual combination. Notably, Wilds can expand to cover entire reels, and they substitute for other symbols in winning combos.
Land 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols to triggerthe Free Spins featurewith up to 10 Win Spins. Funnily enough, you’ll actually want to lose as much as possible during the feature, as each losing spin increases your win multiplier for your next win by +1x. It doesn’t decrease your number of Win Spins, however – that counter decreases only whenever a payout occurs.
Aside from that, there’sthe titular Spin Boost featurethat you can activate by clicking the Spin Boost button next to the playing field. This will increase your bet substantially, but all high wins will move you to a screen with Golden Chests that can then net you various numbers of Win Spins. In essence, it’s another way of triggering Win Spins, though one that comes with a substantial price tag.
While we do like the concept of Win Spins and while we do enjoy the fact that there are several ways of getting to them in Temple of Riches Spin Boost, the slot doesn’t really deliver in terms of audiovisuals, and wealso can’t praise its math model. Honestly, there are much better Egyptian slots out there, and you should prefer those instead.
