Blueprint has plenty of solid slots under their belt, but King of The West is hardly up there with the best in theWild West genre. The design looks kind of cheap and hastily put together, and even though the soundtrack and the sound effects try hard, the gritty atmosphere from superb installments such asDeadwoodorEl Paso Gunfightwill just not manifest in this game.
It’s hard to go completely wrong with a wild west slot however, and the sliding top reel can award a solid instant cash prize up to10,000xyour stake. Don’t expect to even see that prize very often though, and the base game offers mostly measly returns across the board. Getting extra spins in the bonus round didn’t seem too hard, and the overall50,000xpotential will probably intrigue some players.
You might not see them too often in the base game, but the bullet hole wild can land to step in for all regular pay symbols. This helps you complete win lines, and the wild symbol holds no value of its own in this game.
The wilds truly come to their right when you trigger therandom Wanted Wilds feature. It can happen on any given spin in the base game, and you’ll then get a random number of wilds spread arbitrarily across the reels. You can even trigger aReload feature, where even more wilds are added to the grid.
The top sliding prize reelis the headliner feature, and it’s active in all stages of the game. New prizes slide in on each spin, moving the slider prize reel one position to the left. You need to land a bounty hunter scatter on the regular reels to collect the prizes though, and you get whatever prize is on display above the reel where the bounty hunter lands.
The base game comes with bothpremium/character prize symbols, as well as low-value prize tiles. In addition, you have gold badges that awards all prizes in view and free games tiles which triggers the Bonus Round. During the bonus round, you can also win extra spins via the extra free games tiles.

The same can be said about Blueprint’s King of The West, as there is nothing here that threatens the true alphas of the wild west genre. The base game comes with measly regular wins, small cash prizes and the occasional random wilds feature. Nothing overly exciting is to be expected in other words.
Visually, the game looks more like a low-budget movie set than the real thing, although some of the sound effects are kind of cool. The highest cash prize is worth10,000xyour stake in the bonus round, but you’ll mostly see numbers far lower than that. The50,000xpotential (capped at £250,000) seems a bit far-fetched, but if you’re into jackpot-style bounty hunting, you might appreciate the setup in this game.

Western Wilds- is a cartoon-style wild west slot from Iron Dog Studio, and it comes with tumbling reels and plenty of wilds. Wilds expand on the 3 middle reels, and the bonus round comes with a top sliding reel that awards multipliers, wilds, extra reel positions and extra spins. The max win is a decent 6,500x your stake.
Western Gold- is a JFTW/Microgaming wild west game, and it comes with instant scatter prizes up to 10,000x your stake. You’ll collect scatters for extra spins and prizes during the bonus round also, and 12 is enough to land you to the top 10,000x prize.
