Blueprint’s fairytale-inspired ‘Wish Upon’ series spans all the way back to 2013, and it’s impressive that the original installment,Wish Upon a Jackpot, is still going relatively strong to this day. New installments hasn’t really come along all that often, but the recentFish Upon A Cashpot, and now Wish Upon a Cashpot, indicates that Blueprint might be aiming to revamp this whole series and take it into the “modern age”, so to speak.
If that’s the case, we’re unsure if the dated appearance of Wish Upon a Cashpot does the project any favors. The prince and princess characters are obviously inspired by Disney’s popular Frozen franchise, and the castle Wild symbol resembles the Walt Disney Pictures logo so closely that Blueprint might need to lawyer up at some point. This is an underwhelming release compared to Fish Upon a Cashpot, but it might suit casual fairytale loving gamers.
The premium symbols, consisting of Disney-inspired characters, pay between 6 and 20 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and any combo of the 3 premiums pay 2.4x your stake for the same. TheDisney-logo inspired Wild symbolsteps in for all regular pay symbols to help complete winning combinations, and it also pays 100x your stake for 5-oak wins.

It’s interesting to note that none of the later installments in Blueprint’s ‘Wish upon’ series comes close to the original 2013-release in terms of popularity. This includes 2 Megaway releases, and now Wish Upon a Cashpot. The Disney fairytale vibe is going strong as ever, but the 3D-style visuals come across as dated and a bit messy as the backdrop doesn’t really go all that well together with the foreground.
Fish Upon A Cashpot is a lot more charming in that regard, and it comes with higher instant Cashpots too. The number of features has been dialed down significantly compared to earlier releases, and you’re left with up to 1,000x instant scatter Cashpots in the base game, as well as a bonus round where these may be enhanced. Fans of Disney princess cartoons may enjoy this casual volatility installment, but we much prefer the somewhat similar fishing-themed slot mentioned above.
Pros
Cons
Fish Upon A Cashpot- fares a lot better with the dated visuals than the game at hand, and this Blueprint installment comes with instant scatter Cashpots up to 5,000x in all stages of the game. Wilds remove symbols from low to high in the bonus round, and the overall max win is 5,000x your stake.
Wish Upon a Jackpot- is the original and extremely feature rich 2013 installment from Blueprint, and it has somehow managed to stay relevant and popular to this day. There are 2 different bonus rounds to look forward to, as well as 5 Fairy Godmother modifiers and a Jack & the Beanstalk bonus game with prizes up to 1,000x your stake.
Wish Upon A Leprechaun- is another feature rich installment in the Blueprint series, and this Irish Luck-themed charmer comes with 6 Lucky Charm modifiers. You also get 5 unique Pots O’ Gold bonus games, and a 3-tier progressive jackpot game for payouts up to 10,000x your stake (capped at £250,000).
